As a child, I enjoyed being eye level at the kitchen counter and watching my mother and grandmothers cook. They all were known for their recipes, love for food and ability to put a smile on everyone’s face. Having that influence early on helped me develop my passion for food, and I recognized that I wanted to take advantage of it. As New York City being the major culinary industry of the world, I always had the ambition to relocate.

After working at some of the beloved restaurants in North Carolina such as Marisol, Nobles, Roosters and Table 16, my wife and I packed up and moved 500 miles north and settled in Manhattan. Raising two boys in this amazing food scene, I’m also exposing them to different cultures, textures, and taste. While in New York City I’ve been able to work at several places such as Spotted Pig, Le Bernadin Privé, Corporate Google, Edition Hotel, Cloud Catering, and Pinch Food and Design. I was then introduced to private events and catering and have enjoyed it ever since.
